SWEDISH/AMERICAN
This soothing treatment uses a system of kneading, friction, and long stroke techniques combined with joint movements focusing
on the superficial layer of muscles. It inspires relaxation, relieves muscle tension, increases circulation, and improves
range of motion.
DEEP TISSUE
This technique releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure
on contracted areas; either following or going against the grain of muscles and tendons. Used to eliminate knots and tension
due to prolonged stress or high endurance activity.
SHIATSU & ACUPRESSURE
An Oriental system of finger pressure which treats specific points along
the meridian - a natural energy channel within our bodies. Blocked energy can cause physical discomfort. This treatment will
promote a release from blockage and re-balance your flow of energy.
SPORTS
This technique is specifically designed to bring relief of muscle tension
due to sport or athletic activity. A series of stretches and resistance maneuvers are used to help the body perform at its
optimum level.
PREGNANCY
using a combination of gentle techniques, this treatment is a wonderful tool for relieving the discomfort of
pregnancy during all stages of development. It has also been proved effective in minimizing the effects of the post-partum
period.
